The Biggest Little City revs into high gear for Hot August Nights, the largest classic car and nostalgic event in the country! Thousands of visitors pay tribute to the exquisitely powerful automobiles and electrifying music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. The world’s premier classic car event, more than 5,000 vehicles from the golden era of design are showcased with events throughout Reno and Sparks. Restored hot rods and sexy muscle cars give car enthusiasts a first-hand experience of popular decades gone by. Check out the location map of official activities.
Join the party! Featuring show-n-shines, nightly cruises, drag races, burnouts, classic car auction, swap meet, shopping at the Big Boys Toys Store and The Dazzling Diva, free headline entertainment, The Garage VIP concert experience and so much more.
Free Entertainment
There will be fantastic legendary musicians and headliners headliners that you won’t want to miss, including KC and the Sunshine Band, Chubby Checker, Pablo Cruise, The Legendary Temptations and the Little River Band! The evening performances start at 8:15pm and take place in two outdoor stage locations, the Grand Sierra Resort and the new outdoor concert venue in Victoria Square Sparks, the Nugget Event Center. Be there or be square and have the time of your life!

The Garage – The Ultimate Hot August Nights Experience
The Garage is a VIP seating area that is located at the outdoor venue at Grand Sierra Resort. This 21+ area provides an enhanced way to experience the free entertainment and events and includes complimentary drinks in a stylish surrounding. Hot August Nights Auction presented by Motorsports Auction Group (Aug 8-10)
One of the anticipated events during Hot August Nights is the collector car auction. Managed by Motorsport Auction Group (MAG), the auction features street rods and classics to special interest and exotic vehicles crossing the block every few minutes. Vintage Trailer Revival (Aug 9-10)
It’s the talk of the trailer park. Located at Rancho San Rafael Park, just north of downtown Reno, its free to the public to view these beautiful vintage trailers, 1979 and older. Some of the owners will camp at the park and participate in a Show-n-Shine with judging by industry experts.
Spectators are invited to check out these rolling epic beauties on Friday, August 9 (5-8 p.m.) and on Saturday, August 10 (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.). Spectator entry fee is $10 daily per person with free entrance for children 6 and under.
