Individual Memberships

Student Membership - Free

There is no fee for full or part time students as long as they are not employed full time in the field. Student members would be those enrolled in high school, college, or university with interest in parks and recreation. A student member must volunteer 25 hours of service to the Society each year.

Retired Professional Member - Free

Includes persons retired from employment in the parks and recreation field. There is no fee for retired members. Each retired member must volunteer 25 hours of service to the Society each year in Mentoring activities.

Advocate Membership - $15 Annually

For citizen advocates of recreation and parks - including those who serve on park and recreation boards or advisory councils; in elected or appointed civic roles such as commissioners, mayors, town council members and citizen volunteers.

Associate Membership - $15 Annually

Includes persons who are employed part-time or volunteer within the recreation and parks field, or lay people who subscribe and agree to goals of the society.

Professional Membership - $30 Annually

Includes persons who are or have been employed full time in an executive, leadership, or supportive staff capacity within a public or private agency or department of recreation or parks or educational institution.

Commercial Membership - $60 Annually

Includes all vendors, commercial and for-profit organizations who subscribe and agree to the aims and objectives of the society.

Membership Packages

Commercial Membership:

Option 1 - $100 Annually 

Includes 3 Individual Memberships, recognition on the NRPS website as a preferred partner, 10% discount on vendor booth at NRPS Annual Conference, and additional opportunities to access NRPS members. Potential Lunch and Learn appearances.

Agency Memberships:

Additional Professional Memberships can be added for $20 each and additional Advocates can be added for $10 each.

Option 1 - $150 Annually

Includes membership for 1-5 Professional members and up to 5 Advocate memberships.

Option 2 - $400 Annually

Includes membership for 6-20 Professional members and up to 20 Advocate memberships.

Option 3 - $700 Annually

Includes membership for 21-50 Professional members and up to 50 Advocate memberships.

Option 4 - $1,500 Annually

Includes membership for 51-150 Professional members and up to 150 Advocate memberships.

Silver State Premier Memberships:

Additional Professional Memberships can be added for $20 each and additional Advocates can be added for $10 each.

Option 1 - $200 Annually

Includes membership for 1-5 Professional members and up to 5 Advocate memberships. Also, includes 1 LEAD Institute Scholarship ($100 value).

Option 2 - $550 Annually

Includes membership for 6-20 Professional members and up to 20 Advocate memberships. Also, includes 2 LEAD Institute Scholarship ($200 value).

Option 3 - $950 Annually

Includes membership for 21-50 Professional members and up to 50 Advocate memberships. Also, includes 4 LEAD Institute Scholarship ($400 value).

Option 4 - $2,100 Annually

Includes membership for 51-150 Professional members and up to 150 Advocate memberships. Also, includes 8 LEAD Institute Scholarship ($800 value).
