Kara Jenkins serves as administrator to the Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC). In this capacity, Ms. Jenkins oversees the processing of employment, public accommodation and housing discrimination complaints relating to race, national origin, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age (over 40), disability, and gender identity or expression.  Miss Jenkins also provides outreach training to companies and community groups to help equip them to prevent discrimination. Ms. Jenkins was an appointee of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger before serving the State of Nevada as Ombudsman for Common-Interest Communities and now NERC under Governors Brian Sandoval and Steve Sisolak. Ms. Jenkins graduated cum laude from Xavier University of Louisiana; earned her law degree at Loyola University School of Law New Orleans and Executive Education Certification from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.   Miss Jenkins was recently appointed to be on the Governor’s Task Force to prevent sexual harassment.


Kirk Moore is currently a Lieutenant with the City of Henderson Police Department, overseeing the Office of Public Information, Community Relations and Volunteer Services. He has a combined 28 years of Law Enforcement experience, 21 with the City of Henderson Police Department. During his tenure with HPD, Lt. Moore has served numerous assignments ranging from Patrol, Bike Unit, SWAT, Narcotics, Training and Development, Public Information and Administration. Lt. Moore also served as the first law enforcement representative for the National Civil Rights and Equity Committee thru the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers (NAPSO) from 2017-2018.

Lieutenant Moore attended Tennessee State University and later graduated from National University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration.
